A) Nameri National Park, Sonitpur (Assam) : Nameri, the third National Park of Assam is situated only 8 Km. away from this vidyalaya. The area is criss-crossed by the river Jia- Bhoroli and its tributaries namely the Diji, Dinai, Doigurung, Nameri, Dikorai, Kharietc. There is a good prey –base in the form of –Sambar, Barking deer, Hog Deer, Wild Boar and gauri. About 3000 domestic cattle also form part of this prey base for Tiger and Leopards. Nameri and the adjoining forest areas, declared reserved for a considerable time, also qualify to be an Elephant Reserve. |

B) Bhalukpung, Sonitpur (Assam): Bhalukpung is a beautiful place, surrounded by hills, forests and river Jia Bhoroli, a dramatic and romantic spot for picnic. it lies a distance of about 12 Km. from the vidyalaya and 65 Km. from Tezpur. It was the capital of "Bhaluk", the grandson of king "Baan". The sandy and rocky beaches of Jia Bhoroli river attracts tourist. The fast currents of river Jia Bhoroli adds a different excitement of rafting . An annual Angling Competition is regularly held at Jia Bhoroli in the month of November which attracts anglers both from outside the state as well as abroad. |
C) ORCHID RESEARCH CENTRE, TIPI (Arunachal Pradesh): The centre is located at Tipi in West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh, about 65 km away from Tezpur ( Assam) (18 Km. from this vidyalaya) towards Bomdila (the district headquarter of West Kameng). It is situated on the west bank of Kameng river (also known as Jia Bharoli in Assam) surrounded by high hills covered with semi ever green tropical rain forest vegetation. It stretches over an area of 10 hectares of flat land comprising of office buildings, orchidaria, tissue culture lab., Museum, herbarium and garden.

D) Tezpur, Sonitpur (Assam): The place of iternal love and spirit - Tezpur is situated in the banks of river Brahmaputra in Sonitpur district about 26 Km. away from K. V. Lokra. It is the place where "Hari-Hara" war took place to free Aniruddha. Tezpur is a the city of historical importance. Many old temples and building can be found here in Tezpur.

E) Biswanath Chariali, Sonitpur (Assam): It is around 50 km away from the vidyalaya. Beyond Biswanath Chariali at Biswanath Ghat, Biswanath temple popularly known as "Gupta Kashi" is located at the confluence of Bridhaganga (Burigonga) river with Brahmaputra. The ghat has a cluster of temples of different gods. From the stone posts, beams and other ruins found there it is believed that once there was a stone temple. During the summer the temple remains under water. Only in winter worship is done by constructing temporary shed which draws lot of tourists. One can visit from here the island of Umatumuni, an archaeologically famous place. |

F) Orang National Park, Darrang (Assam): The Orang National Park is situated on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra, covering an area of 78.81 sq. km. in Assam, the north eastern state of India. Also known as the Mini Kaziranga, the Orang National Park in Assam is famous for its natural scenic beauty that captivates the tourists from all over the world. The Assam Orang National Park was established as a sanctuary in 1985 and declared a National Park on 13th of April 1999.

G) Kaziranga National Park, Golaghat (Assam): Kaziranga National Park, a World Heritage Site, hosts two-thirds of the world's Great One Horned Rhinoceroses. Kaziranga boasts the highest density of tigers among protected areas in the world and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. The park is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo and swamp deer. Kaziranga is recognised as an Important Bird Area by Birdlife International for conservation of avifaunal species. The park combines high species diversity and visibility. The park celebrated its centennial in 2005 after its establishment in 1905 as a reserve forest. |
